I swapped out from the stock gold shaft in golftimme cleveland launcher to the NV 65 both stiff and have seen no difference in carry. Especially the link to the German shaft test. Dynamic Shaft Fitting Index Listings Now, I expect a lot of you to be familar with this already, but for those who aren’t I wanted to share this information. It is a complicated procedure, but it explains, why some stiff shafts “play softer” than some regular shafts and why they feel completely different.

The neat thing is, they finally come up with a chart for this Dynamic Shaft Fitting Index, in which the shafts are listed according to that Index, by swing speed and three tempo options.

My swing speed is in the range, where Bassara was rated the top shaft. I found the NV 65 results interesting in that the test showed significantly less carry for this shaft than any other. Please re-enable javascript to access full functionality.

And just from a common sense standpoint, rbotest is really hard to believe that the NV 65 could carry that much shorter than other shafts and still be popular. Posted 13 September – I have regularly seen a European Senior Tour player hit a ladies shaft perfectly at demo days, but he does not play that flex when cash is on the line.
